The Ursula Moon Pilates program also offers semi private sessions as well as a host of small and large group classes, standard or specialty workshops from beginning to advance levels. The Ursula Moon Pilates program focuses diligently to create unique and effective training sessions that are not boring or predictable and are constantly changing with each client’s needs, yet remaining consistent in the Pilates focus and purpose. The Ursula Moon Pilates program is centered around both the traditional Pilates method of body conditioning developed by the genius Joseph Pilates as well as the International approach of the Pilates method developed by Ivon Dahl recognized Pilates expert and Ph.D in Exercise Science. The Ursula Moon Pilates program encompasses the traditional Pilates principles of concentration, control, awareness, focus, fluidity, breath, integration and the core. Coupled with the International Pilates concepts of being centered, core stabilization, quality of movement and functional efficiency. The Ursula Moon Pilates program focuses on the importance of the mind-body connection, developing deep muscle from the inside out, conditioning the body as a complete unit and not as isolated, disconnected segments, in addition to developing core strength to facilitate all movement, regardless if it is for normal daily activities, rehabilitation or for specific training such as dance or athletics. In her programming, Ursula incorporates her extensive dance and fitness backgrounds as well as her education and training to create unique, effective and innovative training and teaching methods to constantly challenge and assist clients in reaching their health and fitness goals.
